MISSION
Pioneer Public Interest Law Center (PPILC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan legal research and litigation entity, organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. PPILC is a public-interest law firm that defends and promotes educational options, accountable government and economic opportunity across the Northeast and around the country. Through legal action and public education, PPILC works to preserve and enhance liberties grounded in the constitutions and civil rights laws of the United States and the individual New England states.
Operational Commitments
Pioneer Public Interest Law Center (PPILC) will recruit and cultivate top talent to staff. We recognize that there is a community of legal professionals who seek an effective way to focus their own commitment to PPILC’s priority policy areas—and we will engage and convene this deep pool of legal talent.
PPILC will recruit a highly committed, active non-partisan board of directors.
PPILC will select cases and activities based on a clear and focused mission, and on the likelihood of establishing precedents that benefit society.
PPILC will maximize policy impact and fulfill its 501(c)(3) mandate to educate the public by leveraging the Institute’s communications team to build the narrative of the individuals or entities we represent, as well as the organization’s own reputation.
PPILC will be supported by Pioneer Institute’s professional fundraising team. We will recruit donors dedicated to PPILC’s mission to take on the most strategically promising cases and activities.
